New benefits and features i Perfion 

·         Table Designer - Save huge amount of time generating table in InDesign directly from Perfion

In the new release of Perfion you are able to generate dynamic tables and export these into InDesign. Tables are generated live and dynamically inside Perfion using the selected features for the specific table. Then the table is build in Perfion and is now able to be exported towards InDesign updating catalogues.   

·         Release Products to Microsoft Dynamic AX – The Product Life starts before Dynamics AX

If you are working with R&D, Design or sourcing of new product then the product life cycle starts a long time before the product life starts in Dynamics AX. From the very first moment we can provide a collaborative Product Information Management Cockpit and all work with a product can start creating/maintaining product data.

When the product has reached the status where it should be released to Dynamics AX then all product data can be exported/integrated to Dynamics AX

With Perfion version X.X and Microsoft Dynamics AX you can combine product data from both worlds and create more enhanced, enriched quotation with live prices from AX with pictures and tables from Perfion.

The Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) is an annual gathering for the Microsoft partner community to learn about Microsoft’s roadmap for the upcoming year, network and build connections, share best practices, experience the latest product innovations and learn new skills and techniques.

Since 2003, the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference provides a unique 5-day event for thousands of partners from over 100 countries to plan their business strategies for the upcoming year. This is our 3. time on WPC, so we can only reccomend it to all our partners and collegues.

The Microsoft WPC week is anchored around keynote presentations from Microsoft’s senior leaders. In 2009, WPC offered over 228 training sessions led by partners, Microsoft professionals, and industry leaders; 90 Hands-On Labs; and thousands of meetings responsible for many new business transactions.  

This year, the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference will be held on July 11-15, 2010, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington D.C., USA.  This five-day partner event of the year will be all about infinite possibilities for the partners, specifically exploring Microsoft’s Cloud services.

August 2008 – The Microsoft Specialist Qurius and Perfion has signed a strategic agreement. Qurius will immediately promote and sell the Product Information Management system Perfion in Germany and Austria. A system that enables central management of data and media for multiple target systems.

The Perfion Solution

The target system could be an Online-Shop, a Printed Catalog or layout software used by a professional agency or printing house. All applications share the need of up-to-date product information, which is often today scattered across multiple data sources. The Perfion PIM solution can also be used to generate printable PDFs while making sure that the corporate design is used. The solution is aimed at organizations with many different product items or variants and/or product items described using many different attributes, features, images or other media that need to be used in different outputs or shared with partners, distributors, customers in many different ways.

The solution is based entirely on Microsoft technology and uses the Microsoft SQL Server as its database. Perfion integrates and structures all the information that was earlier maintained in several subsystems, this includes information directly from ERP-systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX and NAV, and delivers the information up-to-date and flexibly for any purpose.  All products can be described with information such as Descriptions, Data Sheets, Construction Drawings, Images, Photos, Audio- or Video sequences etc. External applications can ask for any type of information and get it delivered online whenever needed. In this way users in a Web Shop will receive the latest and up-to-date information in the desired presentation format.

Catalog management is simplified tremendously. Catalogs and pricelists can be created and made ready extremely fast and via digital print even in small numbers for specific target groups or languages. The up-to-date information can be delivered directly to cooperation partners via Push or Pull technologies, even directly to a Cell Phone. Companies are using Perfion to conduct efficient Enterprise Marketing, where Perfion makes sure that all the information can be delivered to the receivers in a trustworthy, up-to-date and cost effective manner, and even customer specific.
